- Utilizes a variety of test instruments to complete visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections of various parts, assemblies, or materials.
- Follows established procedures to ensure compliance with procedures, visual aids, purchased specifications, inspection forms, work orders, or engineering drawings.
- Performs first article inspections on the incoming products.
- Document and control nonconforming products, assisting with the investigation and rework throughput.
- Documents results of all inspections in accordance with current procedures.
- Use computers to perform job duties and record information according to established procedures.
- GED, or equivalent education or 5 years experience as QC inspector.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of CAPAs and NCMRs.
- Able to read and comprehend blueprints, policies, and procedures in order to inspect products.
- Basic computer skills, including basic use of Microsoft Office suite software and SAP, or equivalent software.
- Prior work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, 821).
- Experienced understanding and working with a device history record.
- Experienced in Identification, Handling, Documenting, and Controlling of Non-conforming products.
- Investigation and Audit experience e.g., root cause analysis preferred.
